IOM joined the United Nations system in September 2016.

Daniels: “Making a difference for women and girls: it’s not just what keeps me awake at night, but it’s what gets me out of bed”
Geneva / New York – IOM Deputy Director General for Operations Ugochi Daniels was just six years old when her family fled the civil war in Nigeria and she is often struck by the pain of uprooted children, most recently those escaping from Ukraine.
